Artist, Nina Brandin Jones, was raised in Lexington, MA and now lives and works in Broomfield, Colorado, conveniently located between Boulder and Denver. Nina designs jewelry inspired by nature, texture and classically simple Swedish design. She has always had a passion for creating wearable art, and she began taking classes to create silver and gold jewelry early in her teen years, and throughout High School. After graduating, she studied at The North Bennett Street School in Boston's historic North End. There the Jewelry Making and Repair program focuses on craftsmanship, teaching students how to create fine jewelry with excellence in all details. The program extends 16 months for eight hours a day of intense technical training and covers metal forming techniques, faceted and cabochon stone setting, and all types of repairs. Nina's Jewelry specializes in private lessons for adults and children in her studio in Broomfield, Colorado. Nina’s custom work features engagement rings and wedding sets, or sometimes a rejuvenation of a customer’s old jewelry.
